children’s development

Victoria Point QLD

Observations of individual children’s developmental levels are viewed as the learning tool when planning the weekly program. We also see our centres as a family environment where parent’s ideas, culture and communication are incorporated into our daily programming.

We understand that being a toddler is the start of developing independence and individuality. It is a time of learning social limits and acceptance of peers.

We support each child’s developmental journey through high quality indoor and outdoor play areas which will encourage each child to grow and develop to their full potential in a stimulating, challenging but safe setting.

Welcome to the Toddlers room, where children from 15 - 24 months begin to experience their first learnings.

We believe that the most essential ingredient in the care of young children, is warm, responsive and dependable caregivers. Your child will be loved and care for in a cuddly, friendly and safe environment created by professional and dedicated staff.

As a team we will strive to do our best for you and your child. Our programs are designed to progress the development of your child. This involves physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth. Through providing experiences based on your child’s interests, we are able to make learning more meaningful, enjoyable and helps foster persistence, creativity, risk taking and self-responsibility. Children learn through play and through their interactions with people and with the environment. We ensure that play is at the centre of all our programs.

To assist us with meeting the needs of your developing child we continually observe and monitor your child’s progress through formal and informal observations and report regularly to you through a variety of different mediums. Through ongoing observations of every child our programs are designed to be open ended and flexible so that they can be constantly monitored, evaluated and modified to assess and assist with each child’s development.
