0 - 15 months
We understand that this time can be one of the most anxious and emotional events in a parent and child’s life. At FirstLearnings Child Care centres we aim to make this experience as pleasant, positive and comfortable for both you and your child. To help us achieve this goal we have more staff in the babies room than is required by legislation.
Typical child care centres have one carer for every four babies, we have 3 carers for every 8 babies. We also ensure that your child is in an environment where all toys, resources and sleeping equipment are of the highest quality available.
To assist us with meeting the needs of your developing child FirstLearnings Child Care Centre staff continually observe and monitor your child’s progress through formal and informal observations and report regularly to you through a variety of different mediums.
Through ongoing observations of every child our programs are designed to be open ended and flexible so that they can be constantly monitored, evaluated and modified to assess and assist with each child’s development.
The staff in the nursery are qualified professionals in the field of infant care and see it as a privilege to be sharing one of the most fascinating periods of your child’s development.
